Hop over to SewCalGal's for the "Oscars" of Quilting!

(Pssst! Looking for our wonderful, Jacquelynne Steves fabric and pattern giveaway? Click here and Padsworth will show you the way!)

It's that time of year again! Hop on over to SewCalGal's blog and check out the wonderful folks (and products) that have been nominated for the 2012 Golden Quilter Awards!
We have a wonderful hobby, and we have wonderful people and products that make our quilting even more enjoyable and rewarding.

So let's give some folks a little recognition -- a virtual pat on the back that says, "Thanks for all that you do!"
Nominations are complete now, and you will now have the chance to vote for the ultimate winners in these categories:
  1. Best Quilt Designer
  2. Best Quilt Teacher/Instructor
  3. Best Quilt book Author
  4. Best Quilt Store (physical)
  5. Best Quilt Store (online)
  6. Best Longarm Quilter
  7. Most Innovative Product (physical)
  8. Most Innovative Product (software)
  9. Most influential person in the world of quilting to-date, aka "Lifetime Achievement"
  10. Best Quilt book publisher
It's always nice to let people know when they've been an inspiration to you, or when a product has enhanced your quilting experience, so please take a moment to stop in and look over the lists of nominees. Consider them carefully and choose the ones that you think should win, in each category.

Voting will remain open until March 31st, and then SewCalGal starts the daunting task of tabulating the results (we need to give her a big thank you, too!). She'll announce the 2012 Golden Quilter Awards winners on April 2, and then on April 3, the prize winners (those who voted and were PR angels) will be announced! What a fun way to celebrate the awards and our virtual community . . . so hop on over and vote!

  1. I went and checked out the nominees and had to immediately leave - too many people I want to see win! I will go vote later :)

I am so happy to hear from you! I try to respond to all comments, but lately blogger has made that difficult! If you do not receive a reply, it may be because your profile is set on "no-reply". Edit your profile, and click "show my email address" and we'll be able to talk!
Please do not leave links to un-related blogs or products. That is not good etiquette and they will be deleted! :)
