A post for Sunday contemplation

I've been enjoying stitching up some more of Jenny of Elefantz's designs lately; check out this post for some that I showed before.

I love the one that I just finished:

Truly a comforting thought, is it not?
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.  (Matthew 10:29-31)

Have a blessed and restful Sunday!
Linking up with the Stitchery Linky Party over at the lovely Super Mom No Cape blog!

PS: Update - Jenny has provided this pattern to help a ministry that is dear to her heart. If you would like to help, go to this link to learn more about it.

  1. Just so you know, Jenny has offered her sparrow design free to help a charity called Sparrow Ministries. You can read all about it and find the pattern here:

  2. Ah, love your stitching! And yes, it's a very comforting thought. A beautiful Sunday post.

  3. Your stitching is lovely, Jacque. I stitched one of those and sent it to Operation Sparrow. It was just a small way of helping.

  4. What a lovely sparrow you have stitched! Beautiful! :) x

  5. Your stitching on this is lovely done in bluework! Thanks so much for linking up to last week's Stitchery Link Party and for linking back! Hugs!
