A lovely year . . . I hope

I hope that you will join me in hoping for a lovely year in 2013 -- I'd like to personally request (and I have requested) that everyone enjoy a heaping helping of happiness, hope, and healing this year. (While the alliteration may be both amazing and humorous, the thought and the accompanying prayer is fervent and sincere.)

I've joined in on two activities that I think you might like to check out:

2013NewFO

Our dear friend, Barbara, over at the Three Cats Ranch, is continuing her efforts at enabling all of us who see projects that we simply must drop everything and start. Thus, the NEWFO challenge -- where it's OK to start yet another new project!

And here is the motivation to finish those projects:

My Button

Another dear friend, Melissa at SewBittersweet Designs, is co-hosting the Lovely Year of Finishes events with Shanna, at Fiber of All Sorts.

Hopefully with this much encouragement, I'll be inspired to get things done!  So, without further ado, here is my entry for the January goal-setting party!
I'm going to do my best to get this tablerunner completed and on the table! (Grin)

I figure that those cheerful Fruitful Hands colors will cheer us up in the winter months!
Join us in the fun, won't you?

Love,

  1. I love the colours for that table runner, bright and cheerful, just what's needed to start off the new year. I joined Barbara's NewFO challenge last year and it is such fun and that challenge along with Melissa's lovely year of finishes will mean we will end up with heaps of lovely new and finished quilty items by the end of the year. I'm off to make a start on one of my new projects.

  10. I think that Padsworth and DragonDrop need to start working off the Christmas chocolates and other goodies and help you get the table runner started and completed. I am looking at both of you!!! No more free parachutes for you, time to earn your keep for a while I think boys. Big hugs and kisses from Australia!!
Looking forward to seeing the final product soon.
