ReplyDeletemy favorite christmas foods are danish christmas dinner foods ( my family had a pork roast ( with the rind on it) sugar glazed new potatoes, now I can't remember the veggie, but for dessert- a rice pudding with almonds! a tradition in DK is that the rice pudding has ONE whole almond in the batch and who ever gets the whole almond, has to save it and show everybody at the end and then get an ALMOND gift, which is a game or something like that....when I was little, the grown ups would stick their tongue in their cheek and say SEE I GOT IT!! anyways, I'm here now and I make a combo/ american/ danish christmas dinner :-) love some sweet potato casserole!
