Spotlight on one of our Quilters!

Today Padsworth and I would like to shine the OleFrogEyes quilting community spotlight on one of our happy quilters: Joy Denise!

Click here to go directly to her gallery - she has SIX different projects going on right now! She is really using the OleFrogEyes site as it was intended! When you land on that page, you can hover over the "Select a Quilt" button, and the drop down menu will show all the names of the quilts she is working on. Check out the wide variety of piecing projects that she has started, and leave her some comment love here, to encourage her on her way.

Better yet, click here to check out her blog - you can say howdy while you are there! You'll see on the right-hand side, the badge for OleFrogEyes. That enables all of Joy Denise's friends to click through and hop over to OleFrogEyes, and see her quilt projects.

We're looking forward to having more of you join us, so that we can see what is on YOUR design wall, these days!

Love,

And now, the winner of the voting!

It was a tight race, Padsworth. Some of the voters complained about the difficulty of the choice - both contestants were worthy opponents (actually friends!) and each  of them had sterling qualities.....

OK, this is not really a political contest here! There were two lovely quilts in progress by two wonderful craftswomen; Joy Denise and Yvette both have awesome colors and workmanship in their Farmer's Wife Samplers, which can be viewed in the gallery at OleFrogEyes.

When the votes were tallied, it was Yvette that squeaked past Joy Denise for the win! Congratulations, Yvette!

Love,

Don't Fall Off the Lily Pad!

Padsworth has been happy-dancing, and I've had to caution him not to fall off his lily pad! Why the happy dance? What has those green toes tapping?

Well, we have some new followers! Padsworth wants ya'll (you did know he's a Southern frog, right?) to feel welcome, and to feel free to invite anybody else who might get some use out of his site or enjoy his blog.

He also wants to tell everyone to go to the gallery and take a peek at Joy Denise's Sylvia's Bridal Sampler blocks.  His little froggie heart is just overflowing as he looks at her jewel tones and the black border that sets it off! He's truly proud! Check it out, and be sure to visit her blog at http://joy-denise.blogspot.com and leave her some comment love, too! Tell her Padsworth sent you!

Ribbit!
