Marvelous March Mini Madness and GIVEAWAY! (CLOSED NOW)

Has anyone here noticed that the men around the house are salivating at the prospect of non-stop basketball?
 
Do the initials N-C-A-A or N-I-T make you sigh and roll your eyes? (and head toward your sewing room?)

How about the phrases "March Madness" or "finish your tournament bracket!"

Well, the folks at the Fat Quarter Shop have come up with a great way for us to join the fun in March and play along! 
They are hosting a challenge called March Minis Challenge!

The Fat Quarter Shop team is challenging everyone to create and share their mini quilt projects!

From now until March 31, you can share on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram -- just use #marchminis.

And they are having an awesome giveaway, too! (And they are sponsoring a giveaway here at the Lilypad, down further!)

Over at their giveaway, they filled a package with their favorite small and mini things, including patterns, notions, and precuts!

 

 

 

Here is an example of our kind of minis . . .  here at the Lilypad we like to create mini-quilts to hang on the special display hangers. Padsworth wanted to show you the one that we created for the Fourth of July holiday here in the US. (We love three dimensional quilting!)
