You know that I love you when . . .
. . . when I sit up just long enough to say, "I'll be back soon!"
I miss y'all!
Oh, what a winter already here in the southland! Snow and ice, and viruses that hit you and then hit you again; some peeps I know have had this for five weeks. Ugh.
So, I'm going back to bed, and hopefully I will be back here with y'all soon!
Love,

Gifts have been given . . .
I'm showing off some gifts on this post, because it's safe to do so! (Grin) Once they have been un-wrapped and hugged on, it's OK to show y'all!
Remember these cuties?
Here is what they looked like, once they were made into pillow covers:
This was the first one of two made. I love, love how the glasses turned out on the fox! (Thanks again for the super pattern, Elizabeth of Oh Fransson!)
Looks great with the pillow form inside! Love Ikea; it's one of my fav places to shop . . .
Here are two pictures of the second pillow . . . if you are looking closely, you can guess the field of work the recipient is in! (Grin)
Yep, you guessed it, that is binary -- the person who now cuddles with this is a web development specialist and all-around geeky genius!
Here is what the back of the pillows look like: I chose a contrasting fabric to bind the edges of the overlap. The quilting shows up well on the pillow backs.
Remember this?
This was finished and bound and is now living in the apartment of a newly-minted (this year) attorney son. Hoping that the quilt is a reminder of how much his proud momma loves him!
I really like that backing - very masculine, and makes the batiks on the front pop!
I'm linking up my show-and-tell to Sew and Sow Farm's Sew Simple Saturday share-a-thon! (Awesome alliteration, no?) Be sure to pop over there and see all the inspiration! And many thanks to Jan, our hostess, and to Aurifil and the Fat Quarter Shop for sponsoring!
