Didn't get my points exactly right, but hopefully it won't be too noticeable when the whole top is sewn together!

Love,
Your block came out sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love a heavy mug for coffee or hot chocolate but for tea, I'd rather have a tea cup. I do not like a Styrofoam cup. :) but I will use what is on hand.
ReplyDeleteI would love a cheery yellow gingham mug! it's so pretty
It's very cute. When is the Pets on Quilts Show?
ReplyDeleteI prefer a cup of tea. A mug for hot chocolate. I can't have coffee, so it doesn't matter whether it is a cup or a mug. senstrings (at) yahoo (dot) com
ReplyDeleteLove your little bluebird!
ReplyDeleteBig mugs of java are a must around here too;)
big hot mugs are a must in my life. Love your color and sweet check and dots choices in your blocks.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I use big mugs, too! Thanks for this opportunity!
ReplyDeletei just came into a stash (quite a large one) of gingham and your block has inspired me on more ways to use it! It is so great to look at others work and see inspiration come to life.

ReplyDeleteA big mug of coffee in the morning and at night a mug of warmed milk with chocolate syrup for my chocolate fix. Very cute block....
ReplyDeleteMake it a "mug" for me!
ReplyDeleteCute fabric- but I especially love the yellow check and the navy Swiss dot- they are classics :)
ReplyDeleteI prefer a mug for coffee and hot chocolate but a cup is nice for tea also.
ReplyDeleteI love the fact there is a choice to applique, embroider, or piece the block. Mix and match! Whatever your mood is that day.
I, too, like the idea of a mug....we have lots of fragile designs with teacups. This pattern is sew versatile in fabric choices, applique, embroidery, etc. I love it.
ReplyDeleteTea cups for my tea, Mugs for my coffee!
ReplyDeleteYour block turned out beautiful :-). I sure prefer mugs.
ReplyDeleteI like a mug. Love your little bird and flower, and the colors are so calming. I didn't expect this block until next week. So fun! And thanks for the giveaway opportunity.
ReplyDeleteThis is sew much fun...it is a mug for me with tea or coffee!!! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI am a mug! A big one!
ReplyDeleteI prefer a large mug for coffee or tea. Not the thick walled ones, though, and it needs to hold at least 2 regular sized cups. No plastic or artificial feeling ones, either...must be ceramic or glass.
ReplyDeleteI decided to do the applique method for the blocks, even though the other two methods are probably easier. I think I was embroidering before the age of 5 and started sewing. I was able to make clothing by the age of 7. I stopped using patterns about 3 decades ago, as they seemed so tedious. I like to just look at a piece of fabric and "wing it!" I used the same wing it method for my first quilt at age 16, and the results were...uhmmm...not great. lisajcowell@cs.com
Beautiful block!!!
ReplyDeleteI like a mug but it has to be a fine china one!!

ReplyDeleteI don't drink either tea or coffee. A mug is good for Cocoa though.
ReplyDeleteI love the mug! I just drink ice water.....the little dainty cup would slop it all over!....and your little bird has such a forlorn look its face! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI prefer a mug most of the time...but once in awhile will get out a teacup. I have my grandmother's collection. Love to look at them, and think I am afraid to use them too often...would feel terrible if I broke one of them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet block. The bird and mug are so inviting.
ReplyDeleteI love mugs! thanks!

ReplyDeleteJust love your blocks. Thanks for a chance to win.
ReplyDeleteYour fabrics are so charming.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm indulging while busy...it's a mug but if I get to sit to relax and enjoy the moment...there's nothing like a cuppa, especially with a very special cup!
ReplyDeleteMug, all the way.,preferably a pretty bone china one!
ReplyDeleteI love how you used the yellow gingham fabric for your mug. Such a sweet block.
ReplyDeleteTea cups are so nice, however I usually use a mug for my tea because they are bigger.
