We thought we would
Dragons breathe fire, you know.
Really.
They do.
Most of the time our duties around here are pretty light. We spend a great deal of time checking out supplies (above) and projects (below).
We are really busy this time of year, though, because we help with the Pets on Quilts Show.
Something happened today that we thought we should write about, because Snoodles is busy doing something she calls "making a living." Not sure exactly what that is, but she seems to work hard at it.
Recently we received an envelope from the lovely Karen at QuiltStyle, an Etsy shop that we particularly like. You can click here to check it out.
She sent us some beautiful squares of fabric!
Aren't they nice? She has more at her shop, and has some gorgeous African fabrics, too, and cowrie shells to use for embellishments!
About the same time that Karen's squares arrived, another package came:
Snoodles decided to make something using both:
I wondered what was going to happen, so I stayed alert, with my toe poised above the camera button. Here comes Moses, the studio cat, looking rather grumpy:
Here is what happened next!
"Oh, catnip, I lurve you."
"I reaaaaaaaallllllly lurve you."
"Come back here, you are not getting away from me!"
He was moving pretty fast for a grumpy ole cat, lemme tell you! This frog had trouble keeping up with him and snapping pictures!
Later I caught up with him to ask him about it:
"I'd rather not talk about it."
"I'm going to take a nap."
Personally, I don't see what he sees in the stuff. Didn't smell special to me, or to DragonDrop, either!
Don't forget to be getting ready for our Pet Show in August!
(Linking up today with the lovely Katharine at the Thursday Favorites Hop, and with her cohosts, Pam and Nina! Thanks, ladies!)
