* Warning * Fabric Yumminess Ahead!

If I were to ask you, "what is your favorite flower?" what would you answer? Cheerful daisies?

Elegant lilies?

Roses?  I pick these, and soon you'll know why . . .

How about if I asked you about your favorite flavor of sweets? Ahhh, I hear a resounding ovation for chocolate!

Some said vanilla!

(Wow, this is making me hungry!!)

Well, I say butterscotch!

Ya wanna know why??

Here's a clue!

Check this out, Lilypadquilters!   I won this delicious bundle of fat quarters from Fig Tree Quilts!

As part of the Moda Country Fair blog hop, I visited Joanna Figueroa's blog, Fresh Figs, and had a jolly time there. She is a fabulous designer, and shared a neat project with us, as well as some of her favorite county fair foods, and random facts about herself. Not sure why anyone would be surprised at her singing in the shower . . . I mean, doesn't everybody? (Grin)

So, here is why I am so into Butterscotch and Rose . . .

Sigh. I am absolutely overcome. This is indeed a gorgeous line of fabric! I can't believe it's all mine! Mine! (Oops, am I starting to sound like a seagull?)

Anyway, I also have one of the beautiful Fig Tree Quilts patterns, called "Blossom" and I intend to show off these lovelies with this quilt pattern! Check this out:

I'm going to be using Ole Frog Eyes to show my progress, so each time that I finish a block, I'll be placing it in my quilt over there. I'll holler when I have some for you to look at --- this way you get to see the quilt grow before your very eyes!

Thanks so much to Joanna Figueroa, and the lovely folks at Fig Tree Quilts! I'm one very happy quilter!!

Love,
