It's time for Block 3! Are you ready? I think this one is my favorite so far!
I followed the instructions and made four of those . . .

Here is the completed block -- isn't it cute?
I thought I would get out all three of the finished blocks and look at them together. I know it's not yet time to start the "putting together" process, but hey, that's how I roll. (Grin)
I really like how these colors are playing together!
And speaking of playing, these two must be up to something . . . I had to help DragonDrop dig his way out of the button basket, so I hope he and Padsworth are going to be careful . . .

Thank heavens, it rained yesterday and the evening before. Before that it's been hot and so dry we were disparing of our garden, couldn't keep it wet enough for anything to grow. Of course, being away from home and watering irregulary most of the month didn't help either. Love your blocks. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteWe've had frequent evening thunderstorms for the whole month of July. We had one last night with small hail and the ground looked snow-covered for a while until the hail melted. It's been a very unusual month!

ReplyDeleteHere in Western Washington it last rained sometime during the week of July 18. Usually our summer begins on July 5th, but this year it's waited until later in the month. I actually like the rain - as we say in our neck of the woods, "We don't tan, we rust!"

But do to the fact that a tree fell on my sewing room and it is all packed up until the house is fixed, I don't want any rain right now! ReplyDeleteOh my, it has been a very dry summer; but tonight we had a big thundershower & it is fabulously wet outside right now. I even went out and walked in the rain after the heavy downpour was over and light rain continued for a while. Counting every blessing!

ReplyDeleteI live just north of Dallas, TX. It has been in the upper 90's here for all of July and now we ate hitting 100 and some days over that. It has hot rained at my house in 2 months. There were scattered thunder storms around the area last week, bet all we got was thunder!

ReplyDeleteI live on the beautiful California central coast, which is essentially a drought area and has been for a long, long time. Even though we are only about 6 miles from the Pacific Ocean, you can't drink or water with salt water! Last rain was so long ago I can't remember.
