Here, look for yourself --- click on this link and go to our special Show Page!!

Padsworth and I would love to encourage you to patronize our sponsors, and let all of them know that you appreciate their generous sponsorships!
We are expecting to hear from others who will join our happy band of sponsors, too.

Bingo words and May for Me fabrics

I recently received some solid fat quarters from Contemporary Cloth --- I tried taking pictures of these, but even photographing outside, I just couldn't quite capture the vibrant colors.

These are so much more gorgeous in person!  I was really impressed with Contemporary Cloth's selection, and their great pricing, too!  Padsworth says you should check them out, OK? (Wink) Here's a linkie to take you there ever so swiftly!

I'm trying to decide what to make with them . . . I've really been drawn to some of the modern designs lately, like these

This one is is called Sherbet Squares, from Freshlemonquilts

(Faith has an awesome site with patterns and mouth-watering pictures, and she designed a lovely block that's featured in the Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks magazine that just splashed down recently!)

This stacked coins quilt is from Handmade by Molly blog.

I've seen some awesome projects with solids in half square triangles, too. I'm torn. They are all inspiring. Can't decide whether the background should be black or white, either!
Well, whilst I dither about yet another new project, here are your words for today:

 B--man

 N--bulldog

 B--gingerbread man

 G--sneakers
 O--Swan or Swain

 N--angel

 G--Kiwi

 N--birdhouse

 B--motorbike

 G--angel

Have fun today!

Love,

We have a winner! And a sneak peek!

Mr. Random did his job for us this morning, and we have a winner for the Fast and Fun First Quilts book!

He chose number 68!

And that was Sally from Sally's Quilts blog! She said:

Congratulations, Sally! We'll be emailing you for the information to get your book to you!

By the way, you should click on the link to go and see her blog . . . she is showing a cute bandana quilt that she made - maybe you can click to follow her, too!

I also wanted to show you a sneak peek of some fabrics that I am playing with today, as part of my May for Me time . . .

This project will be a birthday gift for someone who loves music, and loves the colors black, white, and red! I think I scored on this one!

It's going to be a tea wallet (you can find my tutorial here) and I changed up the way I am piecing this one:

I think that will add some interest to the outside of the wallet. Oh, and I wanted to show you my new mug for my morning cuppa joe . . . my sis sent this to me for my birthday -- we share the same day, just three years apart!  (Grin)  This makes me smile!

I'll be back tomorrow with some more Bingo words, and more works in progress!

Love,
