Do you have a very good, very bad dog?

Today we are kicking off our sponsor features for the Pets on Quilts Show in August! Please welcome our first sponsor -- new to our show, it's Jeffree Itrich, an author and contributor to the Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog compilation!

I'm so impressed with Jeffree; I've corresponded with her, and she has a real heart for the kind of things that we do here at the Lilypad . . . good things, heartfelt things, things that make a difference in our world! Like our Padsworth Project, for example. (Grin)

Jeffree's blog (click on this link to be whisked through cyberspace and see it!) is fairly new, and I believe you will enjoy your visit there. She is building her audience, so click to follow, and you will find stories about all the good around us -- people, animals, and organizations!

Jeffree's dog, Sitka, was the inspiration for her contribution to the book. All of her photos of her beloved pup were stashed, so we grabbed this from the interwebs: Jeffree says Sitka was even more handsome than this good-looking guy!

Here is a little bit of the text that describes this great book:
Sometimes you can choose your family… by choosing to love a dog! But just because they’re dogs, it doesn't mean they won't be as complex and individual as anyone else around. Our dogs can be so good, and then they can be not-so-good, but boy do they give us great stories! This collection of 101 funny, heartwarming, and sometimes mind-boggling stories is all about all the very good, very bad, simply amazing things our dogs do.
They come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. From goofy to guard, from hero to ham, and everywhere in between, our dogs are important and beloved members of our families. Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog will have readers of all breeds laughing, commiserating, and maybe even shedding a tear. These 101 heartwarming, humorous and completely true stories about our canine companions are sure to touch every dog lover's soul. Perfect for "man's best friend's" best friend.

Jeffree is going to provide one of our lucky winners in the Pet Show a copy of this book as their prize! Thanks, Jeffree!

I hope you will click over to see Jeffree's Facebook page, as well, for another way to keep updated with her lovely and inspiring posts.

Folks like Jeffree really make us happy here at the Lilypad!

Thanks for being a Pets on Quilts Sponsor, Jeffree! Welcome aboard!

Love,
