. . . when you get going on your chain piecing for half square triangles; you're zipping along with the pedal to the metal; you're thinking to yourself that "this block is going to go together so quickly!" . . .
. . . and then you realize that your bobbin thread ran out eight or ten squares ago.
Can I get an "Amen" here? Does this happen to you?

tee hee!!! That has happened to me many times :)
ReplyDeleteJust happened last night... I feel your pain!
ReplyDeletehaha...you are so funny! I know the feeling, but it actually hasn't happened to me in a very very long time.....cause I hate when that happens. LOL
ReplyDeleteAmen :)
ReplyDeleteBeen there - done that
ReplyDeleteLOL!
ReplyDeleteAMEN!
It's all fun and games until the bobbin runs out!
Oh yeah, even when I KNOW I'm about to run out of bobbin thread, lol.
ReplyDeleteA M E N!
ReplyDeleteHah! And each time it happens, I realize that my sewing machine suddenly 'sounded different' - the first clue that the bobbin ran out! You would think that the sewing machine companies would do something about this age old problem by now!! Like the sewing machine has a light that turns on when the bobbin is empty, or make larger bobbins, or a back up bobbin...something!!
ReplyDeleteActually some sewing machines do have a bobbin minder and it lets you know when you are low or out of bobbin thread.
DeleteAMEN! augh hate that :)
ReplyDeleteAmen! AleluiaH! IT's do good to know I'm not alone!
ReplyDeleteTestify!
ReplyDeleteEven worse is when you notice the bobbin is low and convince yourself there's enough even though you really feel you should replace it.
Oh gosh...can we all relate or what???? My Janome actually stops and tells me the bobbin is out. All machines should do that!
ReplyDeleteYes, I've had it happen too (many times!). It is so annoying!
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that! LOL
ReplyDeleteAmen (and ARRRRRGGGGGHHH!)
ReplyDeleteAmen! Happens all the time!
ReplyDeleteNan
AMEN!
ReplyDeleteI thought that Padsworth and DragonDrop should be checking this and telling you sooner. What's happening?? That happens to me all the time because I think I can do one more.
ReplyDeleteIt happens...Irregardless how much we eyeball the thread and needle
ReplyDeleteAMEN!
ReplyDeleteHaha- ALL THE TIME!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, far too often!
ReplyDeleteNo so much any more. My Lucy has a sensor that beeps at me when the bobbin is getting low. So sorry that you had this happen to you.
ReplyDeleteIt happens all.the.time!
