The folks at Petfinder and at our buddies The Quilt Pattern Magazine are calling for help.....can you give them a hand? They have received a request for kennel quilts from the Humane Society of Missouri; they are taking care of animals that have been displaced by floods, and they need our help.
Here is a link to show you a pattern for the kennel quilts: click here! Click here for a form to send along with your completed tiny quilts, and here is the address to send the quilts to:
Humane Society of Missouri 1201 Macklind Avenue St. Louis, MO 63110
Be sure to spread the word by posting photos on the TQPM Kennel Quilt Facebook page, too! Want to know more about the project? Check this out! Be back soon with more quilty stuff!
No, no, not that kind. Definitely not, since I'm on a low carb diet. (Grin) The kind that I love don't have ANY calories at all!
See what I mean? Yummmm....look at this "Baltimore Blues" jelly roll from the Fat Quarter Shop!
And check out this one, called "Bread and Butter" by American Jane for Moda Fabrics!
While you are wiping the drool from your keyboard, head over to our sponsor's site and check out this sale!
The folks at the Fat Quarter Shop are focusing on jelly rolls and there might be a neat project coming soon that we'll tell you about . . . so you might want to have at least one of these lovelies in your stash! Just sayin . .. . Love,
Remember my hand-stitching project? That cute "Maggie's First Dance" quilt from the pattern by Jacquelynne Steves. I wanted to show you that I'd made some progress! The centers of the yellow blocks are getting some freehand stitching that will vary from block to block:

This is so relaxing and fun! When it's all done, I'll have a wall-hanging that I can be proud of!
Hope all of you have a blessed and peaceful Easter! I hope you'll be rejoicing with me in the fact that He is risen, for all of us! Happy Easter! Love,
When it's a sale this good, very few words are needed! Hurry over to our fabulous sponsor, the Fat Quarter Shop, and see the huge sale going on! Pardon me, I'm hopping over now! Love,
