I'm talking about springtime!
After some fits and starts, spring is really here!
It's so much fun to walk outside and see all of the blooming things, and hear the birds -- they are extra-special-cheerful since spring is here!
I thought I would share some of my garden bright spots. We're not going to mention the mound of soil awaiting tomato plants, or the weed trimming that needs doing, nor the borders that need attention.
Ahem.
Feast your eyes on these lovelies -- I can't decide if they are just plain gorgeous, or if they are a little snobbish, too. They are so elegant; look at this delicate one.
Regal, too. In the midst of less-than-stellar surroundings.
What do you think of irises? Are they just lovely, or are they a little arrogant? (Grin)
Have a happy springtime day, and find time to quilt! I have some fabulous fabrics to show you next time!
Love,
Irises are my most favorite flower. They are just plain gorgeous! They will keep anyone from noticing your neglected spots. lol

ReplyDeleteYou have a fantastic collection of gorgeous irises!!! I adore irises. Just got through transplanting @50 from my Dad's place that were begun by my mom, who passed away 1 1/2 years ago now. Anyway, Tom kindly planted them all 'round so now I will have my mother's irises to think of her. Thanks for sharing your lovelies.
ReplyDeleteYay! My iris are blooming too.

ReplyDeleteI love Iris. I have some white ones that my Grandfather set out in the 1930's!
