This giveaway is closed now, but thank you for your interest...stay a while and look around here at the Lilypad, won't you?
I'm ever so excited that I've been asked to tell you about a wonderful new book -- it's available as a digital book, or as a "realio-trulio-print-book" --- whichever you prefer!
Are you ready? Let's see some of the fun things inside!
Yumm! I'm getting hungry! I love waffles --- what a great idea for a sandwich! Fun for kids and adults, too!
There are great photos with the instructions, so that kiddos can help with the meal prep!
There's a section full of crafts and activities . . .
In fact, there are over fifty pages of colorful and creative things to try in "Child's Play" by Jacquelynne Steves. You'll find:
2 quilt patterns (2 colorways each)
a tote bag pattern
3 stuffed animals with clothes
2 embroidered wall art projects
kids' activity sheets and crafts
recipes
What I think is so very cool, is the ability to view the tutorial videos! Yep, you just click on the link if you are reading the digital version, and you are whisked away to a tutorial on YouTube! For the print version, you can just enter the linkie into the URL bar of your browser, and you're off to the races, er, videos.
The digital version of the book is only $12, and if you prefer to hold a real book in your hand, that is only $15.00. International readers might prefer the digital book -- no shipping costs!
I just have to show you my favorite project in the whole book -- check out this adorable quilt:
There are so many great projects in Child's Play, and the colors are so bright and cheery -- the projects are designed and completed in the Happy Town fabrics that we have featured before here at the Lilypad. This is such a fun book for spring --- so let's give one away!
Just one comment is needed . . . remember that yummy picture of the waffle sandwich up there? Well, tell me how you would construct your waffle sandwich; what meat or cheese or veggies would you use? We'll leave this open until Tuesday, and announce the winner after that!
The winner will receive a digital copy of the book from our dear friend Jacquelynne!
Good luck everyone!
Love,
I like peanut butter and jelly on waffles.
ReplyDeleteNutella and apple slices. Yum!
ReplyDeleteWaffles always mean strawberry and mint jam with whipped fresh cream.
ReplyDeleteBut as a sandwich filling I would use roasted eggplant, capsicum and spinach with baby bocconcini melted over the top.
I am feeling really hungry now so I am off to the fridge.
Hugs to all of you.
A little ham and Swiss would hit the spot ;) Now I'm hungry!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance :)
I think turkey with a little sharp cheddar sounds mighty delicious! Thanks for the chance to win this book!
ReplyDeleteOh yummy - I would make a Monte Cristo sandwich with ham and American cheese and turkey and swiss (possibly with a third waffle slice in the middle to separate the combos). It would have a bit of powdered sugar sprinkled on and would be served with raspberry jam!
ReplyDeleteOh the other ideas sound yummy!!! But I'm a diehard PB&J girl!!! Strawberry Jam!!! :)
ReplyDeleteRight now a waffle sloppy joe sounds really good. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I should probably say something healthy, but....I would have to have ice-cream in the middle of my waffles along with golden syrup drizzled on top.
ReplyDeleteTHat is a cool book. I would put Strawberry and Ice cream in my waffle sandwich!
ReplyDeleteNan
Peanut butter and jelly.
ReplyDeleteI would use peanut butter and a little honey.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun looking book. I'm sure kids could be entertained for hours. I think about waffles and I'm thinking about something sweet. I'd have peanut butter and jelly. I 'd have the waffles warm so the peanut butter melts alittle, hehe.
ReplyDeleteThank you and Jacquelynne for a fun giveaway and a chance to win.

ReplyDeletePeanut butter, bananas and strawberries or peanut butter and apple if I'm feeling crunchy.
ReplyDeletemmm... reading all of these made me hungry again and I just ate breakfast. I want peanut butter, orange spice fig preserves (I make those) and sliced kiwi on mine.
ReplyDeleteYum! The waffle sandwich looks great! I would do Brie, turkey and a little spicy mustard - now I can't wait for lunch!
ReplyDeleteMmh I would like tomatoes with white cheese and some saladleaves!

A classic BLT with a bit of mayo would be delicious. Great book and I'd love to share it with my grandkids.
ReplyDeleteI would use eggs and avocado :)
ReplyDeleteCheese and sundried tomatoes for me please!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking some smoked provolone cheese, slices of green granny smith apple and some apple wood smoked ham and bacon with a little bit of creme cheese sounds good to me wit a side of purple seedless grapes and some chilled mandarin orange slices. Yummm I am so makeing myself hungry visualizing this...
ReplyDeleteI think I would use peanut butter and jelly. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteNutella and bananas. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteNever had a waffle sandwich in my life! I would have to go for PB&J for my first try. As for the books there are good reasons for both digital and hard copy, I like instant gratification of digital download, but nothing beats a hard copy and having it in your hands. I forget what I have digitally, and where on earth it is.
ReplyDeleteHI! I LOVE STRAWBERRIES AND VANILLA GREEK YOGURT ON MY WAFFLES!
ReplyDeleteTHANKS FOR A NICE GIVEAWAY!
