I stepped off our front porch yesterday and was greeted by -- hold on, now -- azalea blooms! Seriously!
These are supposed to bloom in the spring, right? Take a peek at this:
I was floored! I remember now that a couple of our azaleas' tags said two-season bloomers, but this is the first time this has happened.
Isn't it fun to find unexpected treasures!

ReplyDeleteWe have the same thing happening in Iowa! I have some Thrift blooms now and many others are trying to regrow! One year I had iris bloom about this time of year!! Crazy cool!

ReplyDeleteMine were supposed to be that way, but never do repeat. I've noticed that the azalea bushes of my dentist continue to bloom again, much longer than I would have ever thought. They almost look artificial!
