Takin a lil break!

Padsworth, DragonDrop, Moses the Studio Cat, and I (Snoodles) would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who made the Pets on Quilts Show for 2014 such a wonderful success!

We are tuckered out and we are going to take a little break for just a few days, and we will be back soon with more merriment here at the Lilypad!

Love to all,

Random drawing winners! (I wish I had . . .

. . . enough prizes to award every single one of you who played along with us a goodie!) I truly do! Everyone was so great this year -- lots of precious pets and gorgeous quilted projects!

Sometimes it is difficult to concentrate around here, but we got the boyz and Mr. Random Number Generator fired up and ready, and we have awarded more prizes from our fab sponsors!

Jennifer at the awesome CatBall site sponsored three prizes for some lucky kitties!

Each of these has won two catnip toys for their furry friends: Sandra Walker, Kat, and Nellie Duclos! Congratulations!

Abbi May's online fabric store sponsored a gift certificate for shopping, and Lisa is the lucky winner! Woot!

Martingale Books offered one lucky winner a gift certificate to spend on idea-inspiring books and e-books! Mr. Random chose Tink's mom to receive this prize! Congrats!

Marcia at Crafty Sewing and Quilting sponsored three winners! These lucky pet show peeps will receive a pattern from her shop! Tami C, Debby, and Cath, you are the winners! Yay!!

Cindy at QuiltDoodleDoodles was a super sponsor, too, providing two prizes! Loris and LaraB are each winners of an adorable Wilson pattern!  Congratulations!

Our sweet friends Michelle, Hannah, and Harrington over at Raspberry Rabbits sponsored a prize -- cute bunny scissors and a lovely book (I bet you can get it autographed, too!) for one winner! Mr. Random thought for a while and then awarded the prize to Valerie R! (Valerie, you need to get back to me with your email address....)

Last, but certainly not least, our fabulous friends at Hoffman Fabrics sponsored SIX prizes! One of these Bali Pops has been awarded already, but the five that were left (oh, so droolworthy!) are going to these lucky winners:

Parrot colorway - DanaG
Lorikeet colorway - JLVerde
Hummingbird colorway - Sandra
Sandpiper colorway - Teresa in Music City
Cockatiel colorway - SusieQ

Whew! That was a huge number of prizes to give away! I hope that all of you will consider posting on your Flikr or your blog when you prize arrives . . . our sponsors are so generous, and they deserve lots of good PR for their sponsorships!

We will be introducing all of you to your sponsors via emails, so check your inboxes in the next day or so, OK?

I hope that everyone is happy with their prizes! I sure wish I could send something to every single one of you!
Thank you so much for participating in our little show. It's great fun each year, and Padsworth, DragonDrop and I sure hope we will see you again next year!

Love,

Viewers' choice winners!

DRUM ROLL, PLEASE!!!

Announcing the winners of the 2014 Pets on Quilts Show!

After much counting and recounting for accuracy, we have determined the winners of the Viewers' Choice Awards for the show! Let me tell you, we had some close races for a couple of these categories!

I know you are on the edges of your seats, awaiting the results, but I really must thank everyone who played a part in this marvelous show -- we have so much fun every year!
We can't do it without our fabulous sponsors:

(Waving) Thank you so much, sponsors! We love you to pieces!

And of course, we love all of you, too -- the folks who entered and hopped around and gave us all such a wonderful party to attend! It's great fun each year to see your pets and your projects!

Now, here we go!

The winner of the hotly-contested "Dog on Quilt" category is #56, PugMom!!

The PugPack can be proud, since their charming faces won Mom the Fat Quarter Shop gift certificate! I bet she will be shopping soon! Congratulations!

Next, the "Cat on Quilt" category was a really tight race, between the lovely Gracie at Three Cats Ranch, and handsome Moe, at Vrooman's Quilts . . . and Moe was the winner by a whisker!

Sharon does lots of pedal to the metal piecing, so I bet she will love what Mr. Random Number Generator chose for her prize -- the Reliable iron from Kelly at IHAN!! Congrats!

We've never had a tie before, but this year we are awarding two prizes in the "Other Pet and Quilt" category!  Number 73 and number 79 are both horses and they got the same number of votes!!

Murphy and Speedy were both quite handsome, and Mr. Random chose prizes for their humans:

Murphy's mom wins the Green Fairy gift certificate, and Speedy's mom wins one of the gorgeous Hoffman Bali Pops batik collections, the Sparrow colorway! Congratulations!

For the category of Dog Themed Quilt project, our winner is #71 Sweet-labs (Sorry, sweetie, blogger won't let me put that extra "b" on the name!), who blogs over at Piece Happiness Together.

Isn't that adorable? Congratulations on a great job, and also on winning the great package from Jacquelynne Steves' the Art of Home!

Now we come to the Cat Themed Quilt category; our winner is #54, Missy! Congratulations, girl, you rocked that wall-hanging, and the voters loved it!

Mr. Random Number Generator says that Missy's prize is the Clever Tools Grip and Stitch set!

Last, but not least, we come to the Other Pet Themed Quilt. This category was a hard-fought one, with several contenders. We had some fabulous entries, don't you think? We are announcing a victory for #45, Belinda at the Seam Rippers!

Congratulations, Belinda! Mr. Random chose jelly rolls from Penny Cottons for your prize! Woot!

Once again, we salute our incredible sponsors and the wonderful community of quilters and animal lovers around the globe that participate each year in our show. We are grateful -- we couldn't do it without you!

We have more prizes to give away, and we are putting Mr. Random to work, to award the rest of the winnings in random drawings . . . all of you who participated, voted, encouraged with comments, and gave us assistance with PR . . . all of you are eligible!

Give us a little time, and we'll announce those exciting results!

Love,

The voting begins! Vote at this blog post!

Has everybody been having fun?

Well, it's about to get even funner! (Grin)

It's time to vote for your favorites in the Pets on Quilts Show!!

I hope that you have hopped around and visited all of the wonderful entries --- and that you know who you want to vote for in each category!

Remember, these are the categories:

             1. Dog or pup and quilt
             2. Cat or kitten and quilt
             3. Other animal and quilt
             4. Dog-themed quilt
             5. Cat-themed quilt
             6. Other animal-themed quilt

We will award viewers' choice prizes in each of these categories, so pick your favorites thoughtfully and carefully!

The remainder of the prizes will be awarded by random drawing, and there are lots of ways to earn "tickets" in the drawings!

It is NOT mandatory that you do each and every one of these things . . . but I know some of you have been drooling over the prizes, and you might want to increase your chances of winning!

So, here goes:
1. If you entered the linky party, you will have commented before, and I will count that.
2. If you have visited ALL of the entries, and left comment love, tell me so in a comment.
3. If you are a follower here at the Lilypad, tell me in a comment.
4. Leave a comment with your votes for all six categories.
5. If you were a PR angel and spread the word through a previous post or Facebook post, leave a comment and let me know that.
6. If you have visited any of our sponsors and mentioned the Pet Show, let me know that.

Phew!

That's a lot of chances to win!

Now, I expect that there will be lots of comments, so please don't get upset with me if I don't reply to them like I usually do!

HERE IS SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT!!!!
Ready? Please don't be a no-reply commenter! I don't want to have Mr. Random choose you in the drawing, and then have to let your prize go to someone else!
I try to chase many of you down, but I just can't do it every time.
I had a sweet comment from a Nellie Duclos, and she wanted to enter the linky party, but her settings were on no-reply, and so I couldn't find her! That made me sad.
PLEASE make certain that I can reply or find you. If you are not sure, put your email address in your comment like this:       name(at)gmail(dot)com
OK?
Thanks!

We'll leave the ballot box open for a week . . . that gives you plenty of time to recruit people to vote for your entry -- and they just might win a prize for voting!

After that, you'll have to bear with us while we use our slide rule, legal pad and mechanical pencil (we're hard core) and when we're done, we'll announce the winners!

Let the voting begin!  Right here on this post . . . leave your comments here!

Love,

Some tips for a stress-free party: First and foremost, be patient. It may take a few moments for your linky and thumbnail to complete, so give it time. If you struggle with linking up, give it another try, and if you are still unsuccessful, email me and I will try to help. (You will need to send me your attachment and the blog or Flickr info.) You can send it to quiltnsrep(at)yahoo(dot)com, and you will need to bear with me. Remember that I work well over forty hours a week, so it may be that evening before I have a chance to work with your linky!

VITALLY IMPORTANT NOTE: You simply MUST check to make certain that you are not "no-reply" on your settings. You can find oodles of tutorials on the web on how to do it, so I'll not bore you with the details here.
But if you are no-reply, I can't talk to you.  I can't post for you.  My hands are tied.
So PLEASE if you are not sure, put your email addy in your comment for me!!

This party will go on for ten days, so spread the word to all of your friends. Let's have lots of participation!

We'd love to have lots of shelter pets sleeping on cozy blankies and mats, too, so go to the Padsworth Project page and sew up something quick from your scraps!  A picture posted on Padsworth's page will result in three more entries in the drawings!! Wowza!

After you link up in the party, leave a comment saying you did, and then have fun hopping around to see everyone else, and leave them happy comments!

The viewers' choice contest will begin after the linky party closes! (You might want to keep notes on your favorites, to make the voting easier!)

Let's party!!

Love,
